About John

I am a certified Business Teacher in Pearland, TX. I have my Bachelors degree in Finance and minored in Accounting from the University of Houston. I also have an MBA from Texas A&M Texarkana.

In addition the above credentials, I have worked in the business world for eight years as a financial analyst. I really enjoying sharing my knowledge and experience with students in the class room and through tutoring.

While I enjoyed my work as a financial analyst, working with students is my passion and brings me the most fullfilment. If you would like me to help you with business please let me know. I look forward to hearing form you!

After eight years working in Corporate America, I decided that working in a cubicle was no longer for me and that I needed to do something more fulfilling. I worked hard to earn my teacher certification and began teaching in the Fall of 2021. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with students and look forward to being able to do this more as a tutor.

About the lesson

When I receive a new student, I will request an email explaining what their goals are and then I will create a personal study plan for them. From there, we will work together until the plan is completed.

I teach at the High School level as a Personal Finance Teacher and a Microsoft Office Teacher.

I would highly recommend asking the teacher what they can offer you and what their plan is to help you succeed. As a teacher, our goal is to help you succeed and we cannot do that if we do not have a plan.

I really like spending time supporting my students, so watching high school plays, sporting events, and other student events are always enjoyable to me.
