About Irving
My boxing back ground consists of Golden glove and park district boxing titles among other accomplishments. But my resume stands out in other ways, my style of training will build not only your overall strenght and stamina, but confidence and overall know how in the art of boxing and self defense.
i like to train with my students, and not only tell them what the task at hand is going to be. I promise only to make you as good as your effort and belief let's you. Under my RUTILA te you will be faster, quicker, more powerful and able to punch consistently for longer periods of time.
above all this, I guarantee two things. We'll have fun making you a better/stronger athlete and you will be amazed at the things your body and mind can do
I love challenging mine and my students abilities. My greatest feeling is seeing my students realize their goals and them seeing how much stronger, quicker, more skilled they have become.
My boxing career ended at 18 years old as a competitor, but have trained many boxers since who have gone on to win titles. I also train the average Joe and shortly after turn them into a skilled fighting machine.

Introduction lesson.
Our first two lessons will be to create movement, introduce how to throw punches, explain the fundamentals of why things work the way they do. And help the student understand why how it looks in movies isn't correct a lot of the time. Most of my students are amazed once they know how things really work. I will explain where we are after the first workout and advise where we will be later and how we will get there.
most of my students can hit a heavy bag for 20 to 30 seconds before tiring out when they first start. After 3 weeks or so, they are hitting the bag consistently for well over 2 minutes. I build machines!!!
I have worked with ages from 5 years old all the way to 70 years old. Age is nothing but a number.
