About Samuel

I am an Adjunct Professor in Biological Sciences, where I hold a Masters Degree in the field. I have years of research experience and scored in the 92nd percentiel on my MCAT.

I love helping students with their classes because when I was taking these courses a while ago, I was assisted by tutors that really helped me gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the field. Now, I am looking for the oppurtunity to give back.

I am a tutor for Parliament Tutors and an Adjunct Professor in Biological Sciences at St.John's University. I finished my Master's Degree in Biological Sciences at the age of 20, and have over 2 years of research experience in a molecular neuroscience lab (with multiple publications). I scored in the 96th percentile of my MCAT Bio/Biochem section and 92nd percentile on my MCAT overall.

About the lesson

When working with a new student I typically esnure that the student is comfortable with me and my teaching style. If not, I adjust to the style that the student prefers and go from there. I also make sure to have a structured lesson plan to make the topic engaging to the student.
