I've always loved to teach. Teaching is part of a musicians life and I find happiness in seeing my students grow.

I recently graduated from The Juilliard School in New York City and will continue my graduate studies at Juilliard.

I have been a Morse Fellow through Juilliard. A Morse Fellow is a student who is selectively chosen by the Director of Community Engagement to teach in local public school in New York City. My students are usually around ages 11-13.

About the lesson

- I learn their strengths and weaknesses.

-I ask them what they want to improve in their playing.

-I ask them what they are looking for in a teacher.

-I ask them what their previous teacher emphasizd and whether it worked or not.

I have worked with students ages 11-13 and also students in the pre-college division at Juilliard (ages 16-18).

Find a teacher that understands you and also compliments you. You need to have chemistry with your teacher or else it will never work.

I charge $85 per hour. I also sell handmade reeds to the bassoonists needs for $30. If you are not able to pay $85, I can certainly make arrangements to fit your financial needs.
