Step 1: Interview. Get to know the student.

Step 2: Teach students about the parts of the bow and arrow, how to shoot, range rules, and how to have fun.

Step 3: If the student wants to pick up the sport: I would teach student how to join the San Diego's Archery club, help purchess own equipment and learn how to join USA Archery.

I have worked with students of all back grounds.

Make sure you create a connection with your coach. Be willing to be taught and communicate your needs. Then trust the process.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Why do I want training/coaching? Is this just a hobby? Do I want to just be better? Do I want to become a professional in my activity? Do I just want to learn discipline and be held to a high level of accountability.
