About Maggie

I offer one on one sessions to help you learn all the basic components of the Arabic language in a fun and creative way to help you reach your goals. I am open to any goals you have whether you want to learn the formal Arabic language or the informal dialect. I will be able to walk you through it especially the Egyptian dialect.

Learning for me is all about having fun so I will curate our sessions according to your needs and interests. We will learn through reading, writing, singing, and even watching movies. Yes, I am also a singer from Egypt :)

I enjoy getting to know my students and their backgrounds. The teacher/student relationship can be one of the most fulfilling relationships where we get to uncover a language and use it to know ourselves, our common backgrounds, and eventually use it to express ourselves fully. It's all about connection.

I started teaching in a school at Basata Ecolodge in Egypt.

I have a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Cairo University in Egypt. I took formal Arabic classes in school to make our audio and video media content. We also trained to know how to speak and read Arabic fluently in front of a camera and on the Radio. I had training for presentation and communication skills.

I am also a singer and a voice-over. I had a formal vocal training for articulation, speaking, and singing.

About the lesson

We talk about your needs and your learning style; what worked for you in the past and what didn't. and then I curate our sessions based on the information I will get from you. After few sessions, we will evaluate to see if you are feeling comfortable, enjoying, and above all learning!

I have worked with children and adults. I am open to all ages.

Choose a teacher with who you feel comfortable. Learning is a fun process and it doesn't have to boring. You must feel like yourself to ask questions and learn. Choose wisely.
