About Udit
I am an experienced tutor with experience helping students all across continents: Australia, Canada, the US to name a few. I am an engineering graduate from University of Toronto, with a rigorous background in math, physics and computer science. I am here to help you achieve your goals. I typically tutor high school and university level students, but on some instance I have taken on middle school students as well.
My ultimate goal is to enable you to become self capable. I always start with a set of carefully crafted questions to identify the weak points and target them tactically. This would include an in-depth discussions of the specific areas, doing sample problem step by step and providing a couple of questions to do at home. I want you to ask questions and polish off the rough edges to make you perfect, as opposed to mudane lectures that you can always find on YouTube. Learning takes center stage.
Having worked hard to perfect my skill to ace school exams, standardized tests and competitive olympiads, I know what it takes to succeed. I help my students do the same. Having had a rich experience of working in Academia as a researcher in Machine Learning and Biology, and the industry as a data scientist at hedge funds and developer at startups, I have applied these concepts first hand. This gives me an edge in being able to cite real world examples and keep the students engaged.
