About Alicia Morgan

Hi there, my name is Alicia Brown! I am currently in college pursing a career as a secondary teacher. I work well with students of all ages and am able to modify my lesson plans to fit any range of students. I currently work as a Biology Interventionist for a high school in CCISD and am able to help high school students prep for the Biology STAAR.

My whole live I have always been passionate about science and STEM, and the idea of sharing the same passion with someone else makes me truly happy. I attended a science-based school during my intermediate years, and I currently work at a high school as a Science Interventionist. I absolutely love what I do. I have a heart for teaching and would be so glad to help you grow in learning. Nothing feels quite as good as seeing someone fall in love with knowledge.

I took multiple teaching based classes when I was in high school and realized that I had a passion for teaching. I had an amazing opportunity to teach art to elementary school students and am now working at a high school in the CCISD district. Working in the field of education has continually reminded me that teaching is the career I want to pursue.

•I am currently in college and have already completed my Biology studies.

•I currently work for CCISD as a Biology Interventionist, where I am responsible for teaching and re-teaching high school students Biology. I am responsible for preparing all students for their STAAR tests and am able to teach students with varieties of needs.

•My husband and I are currently the youth leaders at our church, so I have experience working and building relationships with youth of all ages.

About the lesson

I have worked with students of all ages and learning styles. I have taught art to 3rd and 5th graders, and am currently working at a high school doing Biology pull-out groups. I understand that not every student learns the same way, and I am prepared to teach each student with the methods that are best suited for their learning styles.

I charge $35.00 per hour.
For no shows, I will charge for the full price of the lesson, but accommodations can always be made to meet at a different time.
