About Rose
As a General Chemistry Teaching Assistant for the past three years, and a tutor for many years before, I love helping students understand the concepts behind the material they are learning in classes!
I am a senior at the University of Nebraksa-Lincoln, and will be graduating in May with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and will be attending the College of Medicine at UNMC (Univeristy of Nebraska Medical Center) in the fall.
I have a very strong background in chemistry and life sciences, including cell biology and molecular biology, and this background would make me an ideal tutor for high school and college students.

I like to get to know the students goals for our tutoring sessions. Are they hoping to get a certain grade or improve general knowledge? I also ask about their expectations of me, what would they like from me? I then outline my expectations for them as students, so we all start out on the same level of understanding with goals and expectations!
