About Maria-Claudia
I am an undergraduate student at Princeton University pursuing a Physics major with a certificate in Applied Mathematics.
I have done tutoring for physics and mathematics at both class and competitional level, and besides the results my students have always told me that I managed to make them truly see what lies beyond the dull-looking equations on the blackboard. Being a student myself I know what people my age and younger expect from a tutor and help them get past the struggles I maybe have also experienced in the early stages of learning these beautiful subjects.

I try to get to know the student and get to know their level of knowledge. The I try to see where the struggles in understanding certain concepts appear and why. More than teaching a student how to solve problems, I believe it is important to make the subject interesting for him. Offering examples and anecdotes that are related to his routine, or which tend to be funny is a great way to do that, and it is a strategy that I often apply myself while studying.
