About Joel Maynard

A graduate in Accounting with flying colors and a tutor for almost a year . Teaches students not just the answer but with the way how the answer was came up.

Tutoring is not just about providing knowledge but as well a learning experience for the teacher especially with dealing people.

I started formally in teaching after I graduated but got some tutoring stints in college .

I am a tutor in Coursehero for a while already and also was sent to various Accounting Quizbowls while in college that fortunately were won.

About the lesson

I would usually ask the student first what it wanted to be learned , as to what parts does it need assistance to get the solution or answer. I am not the teacher who gives the answer outright .

I have worked with various students but mostly inquisitive students who always asks for concepts and gists behind every solutions.

Know the teacher first if it have teaching techniques fit for the studying techniques you have . It would mess your studying experience if both were different.

I am most fond of learning new topics of Accounting so that I could teach these to my students.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students are always welcome to ask anything to learn. In order to properly absorb what knowledge they would seek , they must organize their learnings to create understandable concepts . The more organized the learnings , the longer its retention.
