About Jillian
I am interested in helping students better understand math skills to keep them on track or to prepare them for their next steps. I know it can be challenging to understand some concepts, but from my experience, learning it from a different teaching style can help. I hope I can provide the teaching style that best helps you!
I am a rising sophomore at the University of Maryland, College Park. In high school I completed Geometry, Algebra 1 and 2, Pre Calculus, and AP Calculus. In my freshman year of college I completed Calculus 1 and 2. I have not received lower than a B in all of the math courses I have completed.
Most of my volunteer work is with youth programs. I have experience with 4-H after school and summer programs, I was a camp counselor for 5 years, and I also helped as a instructor and assistant in the blind skiier program.
