About Michael

As an educator with 15 years of experience working the classroom, I am excited to help students achieve to the best of their academic ability. I am very well versed and experienced in using different teaching methods to adapt to a student's learning style.

I enjoy the "lightbulb" moment, when a student has a concept that they have been struggling with make sense.

I started teaching shortly after finishing college as a way to give back to students and I fell in love with helping students achieve.

I have taught for the past 15 years at different grade levels and with different learning styles.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, I like to discuss what they feel their strengths are. We then assess where they feel that they need support. I also try to help the student understand the learning style that works best for them.

My advice would be to find a teacher that is well versed with your learning style and that has your best interest in mind. It is important to have someone knowledgable, but also someone that you can connect with.
