About Dana
I have been working with homeschool, after school, and special needs students for over 4 years now. I have a bachelor's degree in education and am currently working towards a master of education degree in curriculum and instruction. I am fully dedicated to being the best I can be for my students.
I love helping students build confidence and motivating them to strive for new things. It's amazing what chidren can achieve.
I started pretend teaching to a bedroom full of stuffed animals at age 5 :). It has always beeen my passion.

My personal teaching philosophy is very student centered, so I take time to listen to them and get to know their individual needs. Developing a good relationship with a student and making them an integeral part of the process will help us accomplish so much more together.
I have worked with special needs, gifted, general education, and homeschool students from elementary through high school grades.
I have been teaching and developing the curriculum for a homeschool student who expressed that she wanted to start taking college classes early. We began a study plan for the Accuplacer, and she will now be taking college courses in her sophomore year of high school! I love seeing students excel and strive for greatness.
