About Samona
I am 14 years old and have played the trumpet for over 3 years. I am proficient in reading and writing music. I enjoy playing songs like "Married Life" from the movie "Up" and "Fragile" by Randal D. Strandridge. I started playing the trumpet in 6th grade and quickly advanced to the advanced band in 7th grade, where I was the only female trumpet player and the youngest. Now I am going on to the 9th grade and still in advanced band. Playing the trumpet makes me feel calm and at peace. It also serves as a good foundation for learning the piano which I am studying now.

I will start with the basics and work up. Your child will learn how to read, write, and play music. I spend at least 30 minutes on warm-up exercises, then start the main lesson. We will take 20-30 minute breaks, and each lesson will be around 2-4 hours daily. Each day, we will work on a piece of music (student's choice).
