About Kathryn
I take a professional and organised approach to every lesson, with clear goals and a strong focus on progress. I regularly assess students’ development and adapt lessons to ensure they are improving in a structured and effective way.
I place a strong emphasis on communication, accuracy, and confidence, helping students use English naturally in real-life situations. I also provide consistent feedback and support so students understand their strengths and what to improve.
I am committed, punctual, and take pride in maintaining a high standard of teaching. My aim is to make each lesson productive, focused, and worthwhile for every student.

Hi, :-) I’m Kathryn, a TEFL-certified ESL teacher with over 3 years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels.
My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and designed to build confidence in real communication. I use a structured PPP method (Presentation, Practice, Production), combined with games, speaking activities, and real-life scenarios to make lessons both effective and enjoyable. I focus strongly on helping students speak naturally and comfortably, not just understand grammar.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs and goals. For younger learners, I incorporate fun, play-based activities, visuals, and movement to keep them engaged. For teenagers and adults, I focus on conversation, vocabulary building, and practical language skills, including everyday English and Business English where needed.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with a balance of vocabulary, speaking practice, and targeted grammar. I also include review and reinforcement to ensure long-term retention and progress.
I have experience teaching a wide range of students—from beginners building a foundation in English, to more advanced learners looking to improve fluency, confidence, and professional communication skills.
My goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable, challenged, and excited to learn.
