About Soegi
Soegi has over 35 years of experience in heavy industry and engineering, specializing in high-tech manufacturing, technology development, and subsea operations, among other areas. He holds numerous patents and has a diverse background that includes roles ranging from senior manager of diagnostic engineering to chief engineer and lead R&D engineer. His projects cover everything from small electro-mechanical devices to large industrial machinery.
Starting his career early in university under the mentorship of engineers from various disciplines, Soegi has excelled in leading multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects, enhancing organizational systems, and achieving project success. Notably, he designed and implemented a unique container tipping system at the Port of Metro Vancouver. His work extends beyond engineering; he actively builds rapport with field workers and leads combined engineering teams, underscoring his skills in change management and team-building.
Soegi is passionate about passing on his knowledge and is committed to ensuring people have a solid foundation and understanding in their fields. His energy and leadership style reflect his commitment to fostering success in both projects and people.

In addition to my extensive teaching background, I am a seasoned mechanical engineer with a wealth of experience in designing, building, and constructing complex machinery and projects across various domains.
