About David
I moved to Bramhall around a year ago with my wife and Labrador. I took a break from teaching to pursue a career in data analytics but missed the joy that helping students gave me. I have a lot of experience teaching maths from working at an independent boarding school for 6 years.

I work closely with my students to help them achieve their goals — whether that's building confidence, improving grades, or preparing for future studies. Together, we create a supportive environment where every student can succeed. My teaching style is simple, effective, and loved by my students. Here's how I work: 1. Set a clear objective for each session. 2. Assess the student's current level of understanding. 3. Teach through examples and questions to build strong foundations. 4. Guide supported practice with instant feedback to reinforce learning. Having taught at a boarding school for 6 years, I know that different students will get the most out of different session lengths and styles. So I am very flexible and will recommend what is best for each student. Finally, I am an expert at helping students in exam years achieve their grades, but I am a firm believer in early intervention and a little but often approach to learning, so will help any student no matter what level.
