About Andrew
I have taught a range of EFL/ESL subjects (across Indonesia, Germany, South Korea and Australia) with overlapping content: including business, sociology, international relations, public speaking & presentations, writing, media, intercultural communication. My students are all ages, ethnicities, L1, learning styles and course objectives. I value each and every individual learner, encourage you to not only do your best (and hopefully achieve it) but also inspire yourself to discover yourself, your critical thinking, opinions and relations to the world around you, while also having some fun along the way and sharing your knowledge and skills (with others).

My methodology is situational: depends on your learning needs and goals. Basically, I use interactive communication techniques (e.g. simulations, role plays, small group, 1 on 1 discussions) and blended learning and scaffolded activities (i + 1 expansions). These explore ideas, yours, and share them with peers and myself to develop your "real world" knowledge and skills (role modelling and continuous improvement). You can apply these everywhere e.g. school, jobs, social and business/ government settings. I'm a great believer in the potential of the individual student to empower yourself and be in control of your life and future. Education can be the catalyst, but you are the fuel for your own success and development.
