About Nurul
Hello! I am Emma and I like to teach, with a passion for helping learners bridge the gap between "studying" English and actually speaking it.
Having spent the last few years immersed in the latest pedagogical theories and completing hands-on teaching practicums in schools, I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to make English accessible, engaging, and—most importantly—functional.
My Teaching Philosophy
I don’t believe in boring, one-size-fits-all lectures. My sessions are:
Student-Centered: I tailor every 1-hour lesson to your specific goals and interests.
Safe & Encouraging: Mistakes are just data points for growth! I create a low-pressure environment where you feel confident to practice.
Practical: We focus on real-world usage, whether it’s mastering grammar or improving your conversational flow.
Who I Teach
I specialize in working with Beginner and Intermediate learners. Whether you are starting from scratch or you’ve hit a "plateau" and want to level up your fluency, I have the tools and the patience to guide you.
️ The 1-Hour Session
My lessons are structured to maximize our 60 minutes together:
Warm-up (5 mins): Getting your brain into "English mode."
Core Task (40 mins): Interactive learning focused on a specific skill (Speaking, Listening, or Writing).
Review & Feedback (15 mins): Consolidating what we learned and setting goals for next time.

I design my lessons based on students' ability to learn, and their learning styles. I prefer to teach for at least 1 hour per session, for students who are both beginners and intermediates in learning English as a Second Language.
