About Helen
I have been teaching since 2005 and have worked across key stages 1 and 2. I have held various additional responsibilities throughout my teaching career, such as being curriculum leader for different subjects including English, maths, history, PE and French.
I am well liked by parents and children and really feel I understand children and their emotions. I have additional qualifications in understanding behavior that challenges and autism.

I love engaging children through different methods so lessons are informative, and learning is fun. My own children loved learning with me during lockdown. I will initially assess your strengths and we will work from there. Your parents will let me know what subject they want you to have extra help with but I will help you make lots of progress. You will feel more confident at school as a result. If you feel anxious, don’t worry. I will make your learning just right for you.
