About Jo

My name is Jo and I work as a German and French tutor in the Hornchurch area as well as online. I am a qualified teacher (I have a PGCE and a degree in French and German) with 20 years of teaching experience in secondary schools and I have also been tutoring for the last 15 years. I have a lot of experience preparing students for their A level and GCSE exams with very high levels of success and I am very familiar with the specifications for different exam boards. As a tutor, I have taught ages 8-80 for exams, work, leisure and fun! I am passionate about languages, love working with people of all ages and thoroughly enjoy my job. I very much look forward to hearing from you.

About the lesson

I provide engaging and enjoyable lessons tailored to the student's needs. My lessons consist of interesting and varied activities which include the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. I teach GCSE, A level, Key Stages 2-5 and adults. I teach both online and face to face.
