About Kate
I’ve always loved working with children and helping them grow. I began in Nursery and Reception for 4 years. Later, I moved into SEN (Special Educational Needs), where I supported children with additional needs as well as those learning English as a second language. My teaching style is all about making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. I like to put myself in a child’s shoes to help them understand in a way that makes sense to them. I use a mix of visuals, stories, conversations, and sometimes songs to keep lessons lively and enjoyable. What I enjoy most are those “lightbulb moments” when a child suddenly gets it - seeing their confidence grow is the best reward. I believe every child learns in their own way, and my goal is always to create a supportive environment where they can succeed.

I teach English to children ages 3–10, both for those learning it as a second language and for kids who just need a little extra support. My lessons are fun, interactive, and designed to help children feel confident. I like to put myself in a child’s shoes to see things from their perspective, which really helps them understand. We use visuals, stories, conversations, and sometimes songs — whatever works best to keep learning enjoyable.
