I am an Associate Professor in Mathematics with more than 20 years of experience. Worked at various Engineering Colleges in India and abroad. I can teach Engineering Mathematics, Statistics, Calculus, K-12 Mathematics (CBSE and State Board). I shall give Free demo.

About the lesson

As a professional teacher I am caring, passionate, enthusiastic and excited about providing engaging and challenging learning experiences. My aim is to assist, encourage and support students to achieve their learning goals. In my classroom I believe that all students have the fundamental right to have access to a successful and fulfilling education in order to be productive and valuable members of society. I take on a holistic, flexible and differentiated pedagogical approach to teaching, to allow for inclusivity within my classroom domains. I strongly believe that there is no one size fits all approach to pedagogy and learning. Therefore, I constantly need to know my students backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures, religions and capabilities to provide quality and engaging learning experiences to engage and challenge all students.

1. Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Mathematics is a facinating subject which plays important role in our real life. It increases the logical thinking, analysing ability which paves a way to solve any type of real time problem whether it may be from any Text book or from the field work. I used to be first in my class always and it created a healthy competition among my class mates. That, increased my skills in solving the problems further. As time progressed I started teaching with a lot of love towards the subject.
2. What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
During my school day my Maths teacher inspired me lot with his way of teaching and explanation. Not only in the school studies one of our Professor during my college studies inspired, encouraged and motivated me a lot in pursuing the Masters in Mathematics as I am only one person who qualified in the entrance examination for the Masters. It was really an unforgettable day for me. Later I have completed my Doctorate in Mathematics with the same motivation given by Professor. As a result, now I have been working as Associate Professor. I am so thankful to all my teachers and Professors who have motivated and encouraged in doing my Doctorate.
3. How does your work help society?
I have become an Associate Professor with the knowledge I gained in Mathematics. It helps to share my knowledge to varous age groups of students in different standards and courses. I could able to make so many Engineers, Charted Accountants, Bank Employees which is due to the knowledge sharing. I could able to make the students successful in thier lives and real life problems. As a teacher I am very pround to say that my students have well settled in various field of life.
4. If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
I admire my Professor who paved the way to become a professional in teaching Mathematics. His initiative made quality education accessible to millions. He's a perfect example of how technology, when combined with passion for teaching, can transform education. Like him, I also aim to create an impact beyond the classroom using digital tools and personalized teaching. Superprof is one such plat form in which I have been sharing the knowledge beyond the class room with help of latest tools such as Wacom, Google Meet , teams, microsoft whiteboard etc.
5. Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
Outside of teaching, I listen to the song of Lata Mangeskar, Mukesh and Rafi who created mile stones in their singing. I like collection of stamps, coins and tourism. I also like listening to instrumental music while working on presentations or preparing lessons-it keeps me in the zone.
6. Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Yes! I once had a student who was really struggling with Statistics and almost gave up on her final exam. We worked closely together-lots of one-on-one sessions, revisiting the basics, and solving real-world examples. She not only passed but ended up scoring one of the highest marks in her class. She sent me a heartfelt message afterward saying, "You didn't just teach me stats, you taught me how to believe in myself." That moment reminded me why I love this profession. This was happened through superprof website only.
