About Nurul

I am a dedicated tutor with a Master’s degree and experience teaching both primary and secondary students under the MySTEP program. I have taught Mathematics, Science, English, Health Education, Islamic Studies, and Arabic, and I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s level, pace, and goals. My teaching style is student-focused and practical. I use clear explanations, relatable examples, and interactive activities to make lessons engaging. For younger learners, I keep sessions fun and motivating with games and visuals. For older students, I focus on problem-solving, critical thinking, and exam strategies to boost both confidence and results. Lessons typically run 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on age and subject. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and ready to succeed.

About the lesson

I believe every student learns differently, so I always try to make my lessons personalized and flexible. I like to explain concepts in simple ways, use examples that students can relate to, and encourage lots of questions and interaction. For younger kids, I make learning fun with games, activities, and visuals. For older students, I focus more on problem-solving, exam strategies, and building their confidence step by step. Most of my lessons run between 1 to 1.5 hours. For younger children, shorter lessons (about 45–60 minutes) usually work best, while teenagers preparing for exams often benefit from longer sessions of 90 minutes. I have a Master’s degree and teaching experience in both primary and secondary schools under the MySTEP program. I’ve taught a variety of subjects including Mathematics, Science, English, and Pendidikan Kesihatan, and I can also teach Islamic Studies and Arabic. I’ve worked with different age groups, so I know how to adjust my teaching style to suit each student’s needs and learning pace. My lessons are great for: Primary students (7–12 years old): Building strong basics and making learning enjoyable. Secondary students (13–17 years old): Helping with homework, subject mastery, and exam prep. Adults (on request): English practice, basic Arabic, or subject revision.
