About Chris
I swam since the age of 10, and swam until I graduated swimming D1 at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale. I have coached three different swim clubs in the Chicagoland area, although I'm now in Lansing, MI. Some of my accolades include swimming at open water Nationals, qualifying for Winter Nationals, and placing in the top 8 in the MAC conference consistently over my 4 years in college. In my earlier years, I also would provide private lessons in my free time.

My lessons are geared towards stroke technique. I can work with kids or adults, either learning to swim for the first time, or looking to improve competitively. It's not just about speed at first, getting the basics down is the foundational support to move forward in your swimming journey. Whether you're looking to competitively swim, or simply want to enjoy a day on the lake, I can gear the lessons and training for you!
