About Felix

My love for Spanish began through travel and immersion, discovering the warmth, music, and vibrancy of the language. That fascination evolved into a teaching career spanning nine years, during which I’ve helped students of all ages and backgrounds achieve fluency and confidence. I emphasize personalized, student-centered teaching. I adapt lessons to individual learning styles and goals, blending structure with creativity to keep classes engaging. I believe learning thrives in a supportive and encouraging environment, where mistakes are part of growth and curiosity drives mastery. Outside of teaching, I stay connected to Spanish culture through literature, music, and travel. Teaching Spanish is more than instructing words — it’s sharing culture, fostering empathy, and guiding students to experience confidence and joy in language. Seeing them succeed is the greatest reward I know.

About the lesson

Spanish is not just a language — it’s a bridge to connection, culture, and personal growth. My lessons focus on bringing that bridge to life by making learning interactive, immersive, and enjoyable. Students gain not only grammar and vocabulary but also confidence, comprehension, and appreciation for the rich Hispanic world.

Beginners focus on pronunciation, essential grammar, and conversational skills through dialogues, games, and everyday scenarios. Intermediate learners build fluency, listening skills, and vocabulary, using cultural materials such as music, short stories, and news articles. Advanced students refine writing, expression, and comprehension, often preparing for exams or professional contexts. Homework and exercises are designed to reinforce real-world communication and build mastery.

Watching students develop fluency and self-assurance is the most rewarding part of teaching Spanish. Learners often start shy or unsure but gradually gain confidence, begin thinking in Spanish, and express themselves freely. Spanish becomes not just an academic skill but a tool for cultural exploration and personal growth. My goal is to help every student reach the point where communication flows naturally, effortlessly, and with joy.
