About Josh
I am a Higher Education Social Sciences Lecturer and a Secondary RE Teacher with ten years knowledge and experience of taking students on a transformational journey of actualising their true potential.
I have also been a Further Education Personal Tutor and a Pastoral Leader for 4 years thus I am able to motivate and inspire young people to overcome any personal or educational barriers that they may face along the road to their academic success.

I tailor my pace and approach to each student given their strengths and areas that require improvement.
Dialogue is key and there is no such thing as a silly question!
I am keen on making learning fun, simplifying topics and connecting dots that will ultimately serve as memory stones that you can revisit as and when necessary.
I believe that the retention of key concepts, information and theorists is crucial thus my approach to teaching involves note-taking, annotation, summarisation, critical questioning, debate and discussion.
