About Leyva
I’m passionate about helping students learn in a way that actually works for them. My background bridges academic support with mental well-being, giving me a unique insight into how focus, mindset, and emotional regulation can dramatically impact learning. I take pride in creating a space where students feel calm, capable, and genuinely understood—because real progress doesn’t come from pressure, but from clarity and confidence. I understand that every learner brings a different set of strengths and challenges, and I’m skilled at recognising where support is needed most—whether it’s building concentration, strengthening working memory, or preparing under pressure. My approach is empathetic, professional, and always tailored to the individual. Students often tell me they feel more motivated and in control after just a few sessions, and that’s exactly the kind of progress I aim for.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s unique learning style, with a focus on memory, focus, and exam confidence. I blend academic instruction with cognitive strategies drawn from my background as a qualified hypnotherapist and two years of experience as an SEN learning support assistant. I can work with both SEN learners and mainstream students who experience learning difficulties or exam stress. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and designed to build confidence, clarity, and lasting understanding in a calm, structured space.
