About Romuald
I want to teach because I believe music is a powerful form of expression, and I want to share my gift with others so they, too, can learn to express themselves and play the songs they love. I have experience leading and supporting musicians, having served as the chairperson and leader of a university gospel choir for two years. I also have gigging experience and regularly play music at my church. Additionally, I support children’s music performances, helping young musicians grow in confidence and skill. My goal is to make learning music an enjoyable and accessible experience, empowering students to develop their own musical voice.

I offer personalised piano and bass lessons for beginners and intermediate players, both online and in person. My approach is unique because I’m a self-taught multi-instrumentalist who plays by ear, with over 13 years of experience on the keyboard and gigging experience across different genres. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to your goals—whether you want to play by ear, improve your technique, or just gain confidence in your playing. I break things down in a way that’s easy to understand and fun, so you can start making progress right away. For bass and piano, I focus on: Building strong fundamentals (chords, scales, rhythm, technique) Playing by ear & improving musicality Learning songs you love & developing your own style Performance tips & real-world gigging advice No matter your skill level, I’ll help you develop your playing in a way that feels natural and enjoyable.
