About Danielle
I was curious about languages and French in particular from a young age and began learning French at age 13. Since then, I've completed a Bachelor of Arts (French major) and a Master of Teaching, and have both studied and worked in France. I teach French to students aged 13 to 18 at my day job and have also worked with primary students. I'm still fascinated by the French culture, and also find constant joy in simply speaking a language that I had to work hard to learn.
I understand the difficulties in learning French, having faced them myself and can therefore help my students when they are facing the same difficulties. I'm also passionate about language learning because I believe that the more languages we speak, the more we are able to understand other cultures and solve issues such as racism and cultural conflicts.

Learning a language requires skill building in many areas as well as cultural understanding. I make sure my students have the opportunity to build their reading, writing, listing and speaking skills, with practical vocabulary and a sound grammar understanding, while incorporating cultural aspects into the sessions.
