About Sally Ann
I love working with students to help them be their best and achieve what they dream of becoming. In my 30 plus years of teaching that's meant working with students to develop skills that allow them to think critically and creatively, as well as develop strong social skills and empathy for others.
In order to do that, it's been important for me to continue my own learning at university, and through professional training, about how people learn, and the different tools and strategies that learners can use to learn more effectively.
Building relationships with my students has always been very important so that my students know that they can trust that I have their best interests, outcomes and future in mind.

I'm keen to work with students from years 7 - 11 who want to make a difference to their own learning. We'll work together to identify your strengths, challenges and opportunities for each term, then target specific skills and techniques you would like to improve. It may be your spelling, grammar, writing, research, memory skills or help with particular novels or humanities topics. Expect memory games, practical tasks and laughter along the way.
