About the lesson

Hello, I'm Deborah, and I hold a Doctor of Medicine, a Masters in Bioethics, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology. My educational journey has equipped me with a comprehensive grasp of medical sciences and biological principles. I've actively engaged in tutoring and teaching roles that have shaped my teaching philosophy and methodology. As a tutor at the Writing and Reading Center, I had the privilege of assisting students in refining their writing skills and deepening their understanding of literary concepts. This experience empowered me to develop personalized teaching approaches tailored to students' unique writing styles and comprehension levels.

Additionally, I devoted considerable time to tutoring medical students preparing for Step 1 / Step 2 exams. My focus involved conducting comprehensive review sessions, incorporating practice questions, and devising personalized study plans geared towards maximizing their understanding and success in these pivotal assessments. Working extensively in one-on-one settings, I've provided tailored guidance and individualized attention to students from various backgrounds and learning styles.
