About Emama

Hello! I am a medical doctor with a strong background in the biological sciences and a passion for teaching. I offer friendly and engaging tutoring for GCSE and A-Level students in Biology, Physics, Biochemistry, Nutrition, and Forensic Science.

My goal is to help students understand difficult concepts in a simple and memorable way. Whether you are preparing for exams, struggling with a particular topic, or aiming for top grades, I tailor lessons to your individual learning style and pace.

I focus on building strong foundations, improving problem-solving skills, and boosting confidence through clear explanations, exam-focused learning, and plenty of practice questions. I believe that science becomes much easier when it is explained using real-life examples and practical applications.

My lessons are supportive, interactive, and designed to make learning enjoyable while helping students achieve their academic goals. I welcome students of all abilities and look forward to helping you succeed in your studies.

About the lesson

I focus on creating a personalized and student-centered learning experience. Here are some key elements of my approach:
Assessment of Prior Knowledge, Active Learning, Breaking Down Complex Concepts, Encouraging Critical Thinking, Interactive Tools and Exercises and Regular Feedback.
A typical lesson lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. This allows enough time to cover material thoroughly without overwhelming the student. Sessions are divided into different segments: introduction to the topic, core teaching, practice exercises, and review/recap.
I have a background in educational support and have accumulated extensive experience working with students of various levels. I have helped students in diverse subjects such as sciences, biology, physiology and more. I’ve worked with learners from college to university levels. I am skilled at adapting my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student, whether they require academic support, test preparation, or advanced learning.
My lessons are suitable for students aged 13 and up, including high school, and college students. I cater to a range of proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced, and provide tutoring for those needing foundational understanding, homework assistance, or specialised preparation (e.g., exams like SAT).
