About Miele
I am a fourth-year sciences student at Simon Fraser University, and have been tutoring elementary and high school students in math for about five years. I consider it a privilege to be able to help students grow their math abilities and their confidence, and encourage looking at math in a positive way.
I have found a strong foundation in math to be very helpful throughout my degree and in my personal life, and I believe that anyone can find value in the logical thinking, problem-solving, and other skills be gained through studying math.

I offer tutoring in math for elementary and high school students. I typically conduct sessions over webcam, but don’t hesitate to reach out if that’s not possible and we may be able to arrange something!
My teaching style is flexible to suit the needs of each student. Depending on your goals and needs, sessions may include homework support, test preparation, lessons and activities to practise and improve understanding of math concepts, reinforcing the basics, and even getting ahead and exploring students' subjects of interest.
I pride myself on fostering a welcoming and encouraging environment for students to ask questions, practise important math skills, and improve their confidence without judgement!
