A Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Introduction and Review: Start with a quick review of the previous lesson to reinforce learning and assess understanding.
2. New Concept Introduction: Introduce the new topic using relatable examples and clear explanations. I often use diagrams, charts, or videos to help visualize the concept.
3. Guided Practice: Work through examples together, guiding the student through the problem-solving process. This collaborative approach helps build confidence.
4. Independent Practice: Assign problems or exercises for the student to solve independently, providing immediate feedback to correct any misconceptions.
5. Recap and Homework: Summarize the key points of the lesson and assign homework that reinforces what was learned. I also leave time for questions and a preview of the next topic.
