About Florence
I am an experienced educator and tutor with more than 25 years of experience working with children and helping students grow academically. I am a University of Florida graduate with a bachelor’s degree in English Education and have several years of classroom teaching experience in English and Language Arts. I have also spent many years providing one-on-one instruction, tutoring, and early childhood education. I am patient, encouraging, dependable, and passionate about helping students build confidence while reaching their individual academic goals. I believe every child can make progress when given personalized instruction, encouragement, and the right support.

I provide personalized Reading and English Language Arts tutoring for students in grades K-8th grade. My lessons focus on reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and building strong literacy skills. I tailor each lesson to the student's individual learning needs and provide patient, encouraging one-on-one support. My goal is to help struggling readers become confident, independent learners while strengthening the skills they need for success in school and beyond.
