About Natalie
I have many years experience as a classroom teacher buildling relationships with my students that drive their learning. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education as well as a certification in teaching Montessori for ages 6-12. Montessori is my passion and influences how I teach and interact with children in any setting.

I utilize my experience as a Montessori teacher to find each child's individual strengths and challenges and work from there. It is important to build from concrete, real-life experiences to make the learning most meaningful. A lesson generally begins with an engaging introduction, a model of or inquiry into the skill being taught, followed by guided practice by the student with my support. Student exploration is highly encouraged. My specialty lies in elementary-aged students in all subject areas, including French.
