About Madeleine
With 23 years’ experience as a primary school teacher, I offer professional, high-quality tutoring that helps children feel confident, supported and ready to succeed. As an experienced English Lead and Phonics Lead Teacher, I have a strong track record of helping pupils make progress in reading, writing and early literacy.
I have 5 years’ experience tutoring online and have also planned and delivered Year 6 SATs booster sessions, giving me a deep understanding of how to support learners effectively across Reception to Year 6. My lessons are carefully planned, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual needs, whether they need reassurance, challenge or targeted support.
I use a calm, encouraging and structured approach to teaching, with a focus on building confidence, securing understanding and helping pupils achieve their best. Lessons are usually 45 minutes to 1 hour for KS1 and 1 to 2 hours for KS2, depending on the child’s age and needs.

Experienced Primary School Tutor offering engaging, personalised online lessons for children from Reception to Year 6. With 23 years’ teaching experience, I am a qualified English Lead and Phonics Lead Teacher, supporting pupils to build confidence and make excellent progress.
