I am a very gentle, encouraging and supportive teacher who will help my students feel seen and valued. I start where my pupil is at and go from there, setting a pace that suits the student best. The most important start to a tutoring session is putting my students at ease and ensuring they know I will be patient and encouraging in my approach. We can take turns during activities so that I can demonstrate my thinking and help to show my students how to tackle each problem.
