About Leon
I have a post-graduate degree in music education and have extensive experience teaching students from 5 years old and students at school and tertiary levels. I specialize in music theory and also have experience teaching the clarinet and saxophone. I have held full-time music teaching positions at educational institutions and also teach privately. I have taught late beginners and adults successfully.

Music education and learning to play an instrument is for everyone and is not an exclusive activity for only a selected talented few. All pupils are unique and progress at their own pace. My approach is pupil-centered and is a "common sense" teaching methodology, There is no perfect methodology, methods do not suit pupils, but pupils suit methods.
