About Adam J not the congressman
My name is Adam Schiff (not the congressman). I'm 20, from Queens, and currently attend SUNY Purchase for Painting and Drawing. I attended the High School of Art and Design in Manhattan, where I majored in film and painting. My dad is an English teacher and my mother is a librarian, so I have a great deal of respect for the practice of teaching English, as well as having lots of experience with the subject. I can answer any questions you may have, or I can put you in the right direction to find what you're looking for!

I'm a SUNY Purchase Painting and Drawing major, going into my senior year, and parallel and vital to my painting practice is poetry: reading it and writing it. I've taken many classes on poetry before, largely from a student of the brilliant Helen Vendler, and wonderfully you'd be another link in that chain! I can teach essay writing, and the modern and lyric canon! Whatever you'd like!
