About Daniella

I’m Daniella Yang, a pianist with 13 years of experience and formal training in both performance and music theory. I have completed AMEB Grade 6 Practical Piano and Grade 5 Theory, as well as Suzuki Piano and Flute certifications. I can teach up to AMEB Grade 4 piano and theory, and have strong experience preparing students for exams or helping them learn for enjoyment.

About the lesson

Lessons are personalised to suit each student’s goals, whether learning for enjoyment, building strong foundational skills, or preparing for AMEB exams (up to Grade 4). I teach both classical and jazz piano, with a focus on proper technique, note reading, rhythm, and musical expression.

Students will develop confidence, accuracy, and a clear understanding of music theory alongside practical playing. Lessons are suitable for all ages and experience levels, including complete beginners. Lesson length is flexible, and I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
