About Charlie
I am a PhD researcher at the University of Reading specialising in environmental and vegetation modelling, with a strong academic background in mathematics and physics. I achieved A* grades in these subjects at A-level, followed by a First Class undergraduate degree and a Distinction at master’s level. My research work now relies heavily on mathematical problem-solving, quantitative analysis and clear scientific reasoning, and I bring this experience into my tutoring. I am patient, reliable, and committed to helping students build confidence and truly understand the ideas behind the methods. My aim is to support learners in a structured, reassuring way so they can make steady progress and achieve their best results.

I teach Maths and Physics in a clear, structured way, focusing on helping students build real understanding and confidence.
