About Alyssa
Hi! I’m Alyssa. I’ve always loved math and helping others learn it too. In school, I was the friend who explained homework problems and made things less confusing — and now I get to do that for more students! I’m patient, friendly, and love breaking tricky math problems into simple steps that make sense. Seeing students go from frustrated to confident is the best part of what I do. When I’m not tutoring, you can find me meditating or reading books! I believe learning should be stress-free and even a little fun.

Hey there! I’m Alyssa, and I believe math doesn’t have to feel scary or frustrating.
I work with middle and high school students on math including Algebra helping them break problems down into simple steps that actually make sense. My lessons are super flexible — we go at your pace, and I encourage lots of questions so you really get it.
I love seeing that “lightbulb moment” when things finally click. My goal is to help you feel confident with math, improve your grades, and maybe even have a little fun along the way.
Sessions are online, so you can learn from anywhere. Let’s make math easier together!
