I had several classes with this teacher. I really enjoyed learning English with her. It has structured lessons with specific topics and tasks. In the lessons, there is also always a part that relates to grammar. Lessons are always interesting, intense and not boring, which is extremely important to me. Tekla is also very friendly and pleasant to socialise. I am very pleased with our cooperation. I can boldly recommend this teacher to someone who really wants to achieve good results and have interesting lessons.

I have known Tekla for 40 years. She is my sister-in-law. You may think, "Oh that does not count because we are related to each other". I disagree--I believe that I can give an unbiased assessment precisely because I do know her that well. Tekla is an excellent communicator. She is very well-read, has a very good sense of humour, has empathy for people in difficult situations and she takes time to better-understand the needs of those she is working with. She loves music, is creative and enjoys learning new things. I was an ESL teacher for many years and strongly believe that what makes a good teacher is not necessarily just "good grammatical skills". Rather, it is the "soft skills" that build trust with new learners--the ability to share conversations that not only encourage vocabulary-building, but that also develop confidence in the English language. Tekla is a bright woman who will make the language 'journey' a positive one!
