About Carole
I am a French native and hold Qualified Teacher Status. I tutor students, children and adults alike in languages (French, German and Spanish) and IT locally and on Skype. I lived in Germany from 2009 to August 2013 and Spanish was part of my degree.
With my IT trainer's hat on, amongst other things, I can help you use the Microsoft Office package to an Advanced Level.
I enjoy cooking, listening to music, playing the violin in an orchestra, travelling, hiking, swimming and learning new things.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 14 years of experience teaching adults and children from the age of 6 to 18. I have taught in Alton College and Barton Peveril College, in companies and private students.

Hi, I am a French native teacher. I have successfully prepared students from GCSE up to A-level. I lived in Germany for 4 years. I am patient and very enthusiastic about what I teach.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach French up to degree level, German up to GCSE, Spanish up to GCSE, and ICT up to A-level.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA in English and Spanish with Upper Second Class Honours from Le Havre University (France) and I passed my PGCE Secondary in Modern Foreign Languages in 2001 at Southampton University.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £30. My cancellation policy is 24 hours.
- Where do you teach?
I teach at students' homes or offices. I am based in Heywood and I am prepared to travel to Bury, Middleton, Ramsbottom, Rochdale, Oldham, Whitefield, Castleton, Tottington in the counties of Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
- When are you available?
I am available mornings from 9:30 to 12:00, evenings from 19:00 and at weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach ages 6 onwards and adults.
At GCSE I teach French, German and Spanish.
At A-Level, I teach ICT and French.
At degree level I teach French.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
I can teach online using Skype. When teaching languages, after the lesson I email the student with the vocabulary covered during the session.
