About Lucy
Hi there! I am a recent English literature graduate from Ireland.
I am TEFL certified tutor and have bachelor's degree in English, with 6 months experience tutoring in person conversational and business English. I also have extensive teaching experience in other areas.
I am friendly and outgoing, and enjoy meeting new students from different cultures! I am currently taking on students who are seeking to improve their fluency through conversational classes. I understand how difficult language learning can be, and I do my best to make each lesson personalised and rewarding!
I have previously worked in Inlingua Language school in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany - and have enjoyed tutoring English to students at varying levels, receiving very positive feedback as all of my students improved their English language skills.

My lessons are typically one hour. The first lesson will be a relaxed conversation about your requirements as a learner, and we will plan a schedule that suits you.
My focus is on conversational English and lessons are targeted at anyone seeking to improve their fluency. All of my lessons are catered to your individual needs.
I use a variety of materials, such as articles, stories, workbooks etc. I will always revise previous material before continuing, and students should be prepared to discuss a new topic per lesson - but I always work at the students pace!
Although my primary focus is on improving spoken fluency, I also provide reading and writing activies to improve grammar and comprehension.
