About Violet
With an MPhys degree and 4+ years of teaching experience, I specialize in the fascinating world of biophysics. My lessons explore molecular motors, nerve impulses, biomechanics, and membrane transport. Students learn how these processes reflect the underlying physics of life. I work closely with biology majors, pre-med students, and those eager to understand the physical structures that sustain living systems. My role is to make these connections clear and engaging. I combine rigorous scientific explanations with relatable analogies and visual aids. My sessions are structured but also flexible, allowing space for questions and reflection. Students are supported in both exams and research preparation. More importantly, they develop confidence in approaching biological systems through the lens of physics. The joy of seeing life explained by physics is something I love to pass on to others.
