About Mary
I was certified as a math teacher (K-12) and elementary school teacher. I have an M.S. in Elementary Education and have spent years as a tutor. My specialty is middle school math, but I'm always happy to teach K-9. I received multiple honors in my math major in college. I want to transfer my enthusiasm for the subject to my students. (At minimum, I like to change attitudes about math.)

I love math! It's the language of nature!
My enthusiasm for the subject may not be infectious, but it helps set the tone for the learning experience.
I like to take the time to discover where a student is at and what they need help with. Then I can develop lesson plans and activities meant to teach a specific skill, reinforce existing knowledge, and prepare for a successful future. I have written plans for all levels and disciplines as the lead math tutor at a nationally known learning center.
